Flowering Fields Stamps and Wildflower Fields Papers

Who doesn't love a bargain?  I got the following papers and stamps for free from the Stampin' Up Sale-a-bration promotion.  Spend over £45 from any of the current catalogues, or even the clearance rack, and get an item for free. And there is no difference in the quality or quantity either - still the fabulous quality that I love about Stampin' Up!

Well I need a lovely birthday card for my big sister so I got to task with these goodies and some coordinating products and came up with this:

Blackberry bliss and mossy meadow are my two favourite colour combinations at the moment!  So pretty.

Flowering Fields

I think I have a new favourtite stamp set (actually nothing will beat the Wetlands set but this is pretty close). And this is the card I made for my lovely customers:

It is called Flowering Fields and has a butterfly as well as the flowers.  I like the simplicity of the design and my mind is buzzing with ideas for other projects which is always a good sign!  For some I used SU markers to stamp the different colours (the blue flower).  For others I stamped in green and then used the blender pen to pick up colours from the ink pads to fill in the flowers. But pencils or ordinary colouring pens would work just fine!

This is another of the free sets if you spend over £45 on SU products until March. Even better... :-)
